Central control unit

iLCC

The particularity of the Longwall Control Center is its capability to show the complete longwall face situation graphically via the 4 graphic modules. You thus have a complete mimetic image of the face on which all faults occurring can be represented.
The great complexity of the system permits, in addition to being controllable from the surface, also a completely autonomous operation underground where operating comfort is ensured by the graphical user interface. This comfortable user interface permits to set/change parameters, as well as to change configurations direct at the place of installation.
The intrinsically safe Longwall Control Center (iLCC) collects data from the face, evaluates them and transmits the values to the visualization computer at the surface. Data measured are sensor values and the operating status. Furthermore, the Longwall Control Center receives data and control commands from the surface visualization computer via modem, TTY interface, or light wave and passes them on to the control units on the face.
The iLCC makes different interfaces for communication with external systems available.
It can be installed either at one or both intersections between face and entry.

Check_Valves_TIEFENBACH[1].jpeg

Check Valves

Check valves permit flow in one direction, only, and block flow in the opposite direction without any leakage via a cone.
On the "pilot-operated" type the blocking function can be deactivated by a separate control pressure.
Our corrosion-resistant check valves are available in a variety of nominal sizes and designs:
- In-line check valves
- One-way restrictors
- Pilot-operated check valves
- Pilot-operated twin check valves
- Pilot-operated dual check valve
- Cartridge.

Connecting Parts

Cable fittings

For the installation of the hydraulic connecting cables we offer a wide variety of fittings in different dimensions. These include sleeves, couplings, adapters, and terminals.

Electro_Hydraulic_Control_TIEFENBACH[1].jpeg

Electrohydraulic control system

Electrohydraulic control systems are activated electronically via a shield control unit. We offer a variety of pilot valve designs for different applications. Approvals for different countries are available.

Pressure relief valves

Pressure_Relief_Valves_-_TIEFENBACH[1].jpeg

The pressure relief valves limit the pressure in a hydraulic system. Our corrosion-resistant pressure relief valves are available in different nominal sizes and with setting pressures of up to 600 bar.

ASG 5

The ASG 5 is the core product within our range of shield support units. It is available in a wide variety of configurations. The number of sensor inputs and/or valve outputs can be varied to suit the indvidual application.
The enclosure is made of rugged high-grade steel and withstands the most arduous conditions underground. The display with background lighting and the large keys facilitate operation of the unit. An easily noticed stop switch permits to interrupt all functions in the surrounding area quickly when hazardous situations develop. This switch additionally has a jumbo selector light integrated. Thanks to its high luminous power this light is visible from afar. It is therefore easy to see which control units are activated and which units are currently operating an automatic cycle, even from a longer distance away.

iE(A)27

Valve_Magnetic_TIEFENBACH[1].jpeg

The valve solenoid iE(A)27 is primarily used as pilot valve in our electrohydraulic shield control units. Thanks to its properties it is excellently suited for this task. Its compact dimensions and the use of two magnets in a common housing facilitate the simultaneous use of several valve solenoids at one control block. The integral power reduction relieves the shield control unit and permits to actuate several functions at the same time.
